well, i have been chilling this weekend basically.. i mean i TRY and get some work done in the mornign and in the afteroon and then i try and chill in the evening after 6! i mean come on,it is the hols and i do deserve my share of rest isn't it!! lol.. not dat i do much anywaz.. i found this video rental place near uni so i went to borrow a dvd from there.. Usually i never like watching old movies cuz i dunt like the colour and picture quality but apparently this was an old classic movie and had to watch it.. its a hindi movie called 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayange' The movie came out when i was 10 years old and i doubt i would have understood it if i watched it anytime earlier!! lol..
I looked at the website beforehand to see what the movie was all about and apparently it was a romantic comedy and let me tel you people, this was such a good film!! it was such a nice film i just wanted to press play all over again and watch it! lemme remind, you, this is a hindi movie and its 3 horus long!! i was actualy prepared to sit another 3 horus and watch this movie again!! it was so good.. Maybe its just me but Naz agreed with me as well!
The movie was revolving around this guy(Raj) and girl(Simran) who fall in love but then the girl's father had promised his friend dat Simran will marry his son! Typical indian movie, Simran's fatehr finds out about the love and haul her back to india to marry the friend's son and Raj follows her to India and tries to win the heart of her father and family.. its sounds like a normal story but it was just how the actor acted adn his expressions, it was really good and emotional.. i was so drawn into the movie..
Some parts did make me think.. i was wondering if i would actually cave into my parents wishes and marry someone i don't even know and stuff like that.. This movie is really a must-see i would say!
